Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa Üniversitesi Tokat Vocational School of Higher Education

Founded in 1976, the Tokat vocational school was affiliated with the Ministry of National Education; No. 2809 In accordance with Article 26/f of the Law, it was transferred to Cumhuriyet University in 1983, and then to 3837 in 1992. It was affiliated with Gaziosmanpaşa University in accordance with Additional Article 24/b of Law no.

The proposal of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rectorate to divide Tokat Vocational Higher School into two as Tokat Vocational Higher School of Technical Sciences and Tokat Vocational Higher School of Social Sciences was approved by Law No. 2547, as amended by Law No. 2880, at the meeting of the General Assembly of Higher Education dated 01/03/2013. With the acceptance in accordance with articles 2 and 7/h, it was divided into two as Tokat Vocational Higher School of Technical Sciences and Tokat Vocational Higher School of Social Sciences.

The proposal of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rectorate to merge Tokat Technical Sciences Vocational Higher School and Tokat Social Sciences Vocational Higher School as Tokat Vocational Higher School was examined at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 11.06.2020 and Article 7/d of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880. With its acceptance in accordance with Article -2, Tokat Vocational Higher School was united under one roof with all its departments.
