In line with our university's innovative approach, we will transition to the 3+1 Education Model to increase employment in our region and bring together our graduates and industry representatives in our region. Work has begun on our Tokat Vocational School and Niksar Vocational School programs, and in this direction, University-Industry Cooperation Protocols and Advisory Board meetings have been held, primarily for curriculum preparations.
Collaborations are of great importance in this system, which will enable our students to become familiar with working life earlier and establish themselves in their professions sooner. In this context, an agreement has been reached to carry out joint work on the 3+1 Education Model between the Electronics Technology and Electrical Programs at Tokat Vocational School and the Mechatronics, Electrical Machinery Maintenance and Repair, and Renewable Energy Technician Programs at Niksar Vocational School.
Director of Tokat Vocational School Dr. Assistant Professor Bekir Doğan, Tokat Vocational School faculty members Dr. Assistant Professor Bilal Okan İÇMEZ, Dr. Ömer ÖNAL, Lecturer Yasin Cem DUYMUŞ, and Lecturer Burak KARA, along with Niksar Vocational School faculty members Dr. Emrah ESER and Lecturer Yasemin İÇMEZ, important decisions were made, primarily regarding protocols.
We would like to thank our Vocational School Directors, Dr. Assistant Professor Bekir Doğan and Associate Professor Fatih SOBACI, as well as our department faculty members for their cooperation.
