Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz, paid a visit to the TOGÜ Advanced and Recycling Workshop, which operates within our Vocational School.

During the visit, our Rector was accompanied by Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Temür, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Muhittin Demiray, Rector’s Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şahin Sözen, and the Director of Tokat Vocational School, Dr. Lecturer Bekir Doğan.

Ümit Çukurçayır, Secretary of our Vocational School and head of the TOGÜ Advanced and Recycling Workshop, along with Technicians Kubilay Polat and Ebubekir Şahinkuş, briefed our Rector and the visitors on the work being carried out.

In the newly established workshop, fixed assets nearing the end of their useful life are re-evaluated before being scrapped. The technical condition of the materials is analysed in detail, and the necessary repair and improvement work is carried out with meticulous care. This ensures the efficient use of resources and makes a significant contribution to the concept of sustainability.

We would like to thank our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fatih Yılmaz, who made the establishment of our Vocational School’s “TOGÜ Advanced and Recycling Workshop” possible, as well as all our colleagues who have contributed to our work.
