A Meeting of the Vocational Colleges Coordination Unit Was Held

A meeting was held on 4 May 2026 by the Coordination Office for Vocational Schools at our University, with the aim of evaluating the processes carried out within the scope of practical training at our University, in line with the Higher Education Council’s new action plan for the 3+1 Education Model.

The meeting, chaired by Dr Bekir DOĞAN, Coordinator of Vocational Schools, was held in the Tokat Vocational School Meeting Hall. It was attended by our Vocational School Directors, the School Secretary Ümit Çukurçayır, and the Deputy Director Dr Bilal Okan İÇMEZ.

During the meeting, in addition to evaluating the activities of 2025, curriculum development work carried out under the 3+1 Education Model, cooperation protocols for vocational training in the workplace, and guideline processes were discussed. Furthermore, whilst reviewing the final reports prepared regarding programmes planned for closure, conversion or new establishment, discussions were held on planning for the 2026–2027 academic year. The meeting concluded with a section for wishes and good wishes following the collection of participants’ views and suggestions.

The meeting, held to strengthen cooperation and coordination among Vocational Colleges, is intended to contribute to the more effective implementation of practical training processes.
