‘A meeting of the Protocol Implementation Committee was held under the “TOBB Vocational Colleges Education Cooperation Protocol”’

A meeting of the Protocol Implementation Committee was held on 5 June 2026 under the auspices of the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as part of the “Vocational School Education Cooperation Protocol” signed with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry Protocol Implementation Committee: General Secretary Mr Sinan Ardil, the Director of our Vocational School, Dr Bekir Doğan, Assistant Directors Dr Bilal Okan İçmez and Lecturer Kemal Ergün, the Secretary of our Vocational School, Mr Ümit Çukurçayır, and other members of the Protocol Implementation Committee were present.

The following agenda items were discussed at the meeting:

  • To announce the “Vocational Training in the Workplace” protocol to industry representatives for the 13 programmes at Tokat Vocational School that will transition to the 3+1 education model from the 2026–2027 academic year onwards, and to encourage them in this regard,
  • The “Cooperation Protocol on the Education and Professional Development of Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Students”, prepared by the Vocational School to strengthen university-industry collaboration, is to be communicated to stakeholders within the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry for all programmes at Tokat Vocational School,
  • Seeking the opinion of the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry regarding scholarships that may be awarded to our Vocational School students within the scope of the Protocol Executive Committee’s cooperation,
  • Organising talks, panels and technical visits involving members of the Protocol Executive Committee and the Tokat Chamber of Commerce and Industry during the 2026–2027 academic year.
