Regarding Exemption and Credit Transfer Procedures for Students Transferring from Other Institutions

Students transferring to our Vocational School via lateral transfer may apply for exemption from courses they have previously taken at the higher education institution where they were previously enrolled.

According to the academic calendar for the 2026–2027 academic year, the deadline for submitting an application for exemption is Friday, 2 October 2026.

1. Certified academic transcript (e-Government or OBS)
2. Course Contents
3. If not included on the transcript: a document confirming the internship status

Course Exemptions

ARTICLE 10 – (Amended: Official Gazette – 29 June 2015 – 29401)

(1) Students enrolled at our University who wish to be exempted from courses they have previously taken and passed at other higher education institutions must submit their exemption requests within two weeks of the start of the academic term. These requests are assessed and decided upon by the relevant administrative board.
